Mrr, so I guess I'm back to submitting "unrefined" things in my gallery. Normally this would have gone in Scraps, but....I like how it came out. (I WISH MORE PEOPLE WOULD LOOK IN MY SCRAPS...HINT HINT HINT OKAY I'LL SHUT UP.)

Anyway, this was inspired by The Little Prince, although I like to draw P. Flash on small asteroid things, apparently. ([link]) BUT YES, I'd never read The Little Prince before yesterday, I must have had a deprived childhood or something...

I'm so glad I did, though. What a wonderful, beautiful, profound book...I cried reading it, a couple of times.

Urgh, you are way amazing, man. <3 JEALOUS. It took me WAY TOO LONG to stop by and comment on this, but I knew I needed to because I love it too much NOT TO.

The colours are wow and your lineartless stuff makes my eyes smile and my stomach flutter with joy, because it is just so BEAUTIFUL. I love the perspective and simplicity in this, and the composition is just endlessly gorgeous and wonderful and dlkfbsdjkfbldsf. <3

One thing I find most impressive is how you go for a certain style with a picture, capture it perfectly, but never lose your own vibe.


I read the little prince in the fifth grade. Very powerful in a subtle way, I should read it again some time. Tons of kids in my school have never heard of it, even the well-read ones.

Thanks, I appreciate that! :3 One of my favorite things to do is play around with styles, so...I'm glad that there's still a recognizeable element between pictures.

Yeah, it's kind of depressing the way a lot of classic literature is slipping into obscurity...
