MOSTLY BEEN LIT FROM BEHIND

this picture came into existence because I had the lineart and liked it, then eventually slapped some lazy cel-shading on it after struggling for too long with figuring out how to color it. Then I realized I've probably been losing my background street cred lately, so I spent a few hours lost in the pure, unadulterated thrill of painting those planks. I trust you all can just feel the raw energy radiating from them
ugh overall this is pretty boring to me, but I spent far too much unnecessary time on it not to upload it, I guess. APPRECIATE THOSE FUCKING PLANKS THEY ARE A PERSONAL GIFT TO YOU ALL

I haven't drawn a decent picture of Dorothy and/or Joe for like a year, but they're still alive and well...I'm just in a rut trying to decide what I want to accomplish with their comic :I one would think cartoony characters like them would be a lot simpler to write for, but...maybe I just suck at writing "orz
